How do the inserts stay in place?

The inserts grip to the special lining of the sock pocket.  This ensures that they stay in place even during the most rigorous exercise.

Are the inserts reusable? 

The inserts are highly durable and will last for a very long time.  They are machine washable.

Do the inserts need washing? 

The inserts do not tend to absorb dirt, odour or moisture and in test conditions subjects have worn the inserts for months without washing,  however they are machine washable.

Can the inserts be washed in the sock? 

Yes, the inserts can be washed in the sock or separately

What is the best way to insert the pads? 

Really anyway is fine, just make sure the insert once inserted sits at the base stitching of the pocket.  The recommended insertion method is to turn the sock inside out and fold the inset in half and just let it spring open in the pocket.
